This is My Major
Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) is an interdisciplinary major under the Department of Urban Planning in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington.
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, interdisciplinary means relating to more than one branch of knowledge.
CEP definitely relate to many subjects and areas. Every category also useful and meaningful. CEP empowers CEPsters to design their educational path rather than provide a pre-defined way. As our Program Director, Christopher Campbell always says, "This is your major." Students take responsibilities to personalize their own student plan and social network. Every student plays an important role in the program because we are coordinate not compete. CEP is an education fully lived major, passively will never succeed. However, there are much more details which I can't explain. I hope this page, especially in my Individual Study Plan, Governance, my internship experience, and my Senior Project can express how unique is CEP.
